The Client

One of the largest exchanges based in South East Asia with a requirement to train its staff on foundational equities, derivatives, risks and general financial market concepts.

The challenge

The client had existing materials, guide books, and pre and post course questionnaires that needed to be enhanced into a more robust curriculum based on sound instructional design principles.

The requirement was for a fully blended learning solution covering pre and post course assessments and content presented through e-learning and classroom workshops.

The end goal was to ensure that learners had a solid understanding of the exchange business and were better equipped to meet top and bottom line business objectives.

Intuition’s solution

Intuition’s consultants conducted a training needs analysis with the client’s learning team and business managers to get a clear understanding of the client and learner needs, the existing content and the target audience. This revealed that the current curriculum and materials needed to be revised and updated to meet the client’s new learning requirements.

To give the client scalability and flexibility, a digital learning path was recommended containing digital exams and materials that learners could complete in their own time, prior to their workshops. To ensure full trackability and convenience of use, the whole learning experience was deployed on Intuition’s Rubicon NX platform.

Following a successful pilot, the new curriculum has been rolled out to a larger population of users.

The Client

Intuition works with each of Australia’s ‘big 4’ as well as Australia’s largest investment bank with a variety of solutions. One of these institutions was seeking a provider to assist with a global training initiative on new European regulations.

The challenge

With staff spread across regions such as the US, UK, and Asia, the client needed a solution that could be deployed consistently across the globe. The client needed a provider with global expertise and reach to support the global training challenge they were facing.

Intuition’s solution

Intuition also has offices worldwide and was able to develop a solution to address the needs and educate staff on the new regulations affecting the global business. Intuition offered eLearning through its cloud-based Know-How library as the introductory/awareness aspect. This was supported by custom eLearning solutions to address how the regulations were affecting the bank, and what employees needed to know. Finally, a series of webinars were held to audiences in the client’s various offices to enable interactive learning and a deeper dive into the intricacies of the regulation. SMEs from Intuitions faculty in Europe were used for the webinar series, which were also recorded and developed into a static eLearning piece for future use.

The Client

A Financial Services Regulator in South East Asia seeking to educate youth on banking and finance.

The challenge

The client had launched a suite of financial literacy workbooks for primary and high school students nation-wide. These workbooks educated young people on topics such as banks and financial institutions, pensions and tax.

While these were received well, the number of students involved, their country wide location and sheer number of physical workbook copies required, made it very difficult and inefficient to make any edits and updates to the content.

Intuition’s solution

Intuition developed a series of short, interactive online modules that each student can access in their own time and can also be leveraged by teachers to include in a school curriculum. The digital assets were also created using a fully responsive mobile design, so learners can access them from their mobile devices. Each module featured a high level of animation and music and tells a story through a family of characters in a setting that students would be very familiar with.

Intuition also developed games for each subject area that the students can play to test their knowledge, with a certificate awarded at the end of each game.

All the modules are available in two languages, with Intuition providing full localisation services.

By digitizing the learning, any future updates to the content can now be done at the online access point, allowing for seamless and efficient amendments.

The Client

The client offers members a broad range of CPD and professional training options but lacked a resource to cover the large breadth of financial markets topics to its clients. For regulatory requirements, they also needed training to be tracked and certified, so members could complete CPD hours to uphold membership and qualifications.

As a professional body, they wanted the solution to be seamless with their own offerings, as well as branded within their portal.

The challenge

One of Australia’s largest professional accounting bodies has a global reach with offices worldwide, serving over 150,000 members. It is recognised body in providing professional training for financial professionals as well as continuing professional development training to maintain membership.

Intuition’s solution

For over 5 years, Intuition has provided 450 topics of financial markets eLearning content that is fed directly into the clients learning portal, tracked, and controlled by the client. The client selects and markets the tutorial offerings into their own packages and certify CPD hours based on content and packaging of the modules. Intuition works closely with the client on updates to content, marketing material, and technical support for its staff and members.

The Client

One of the world’s largest banks from Japan, with a significant international presence, required a scalable learning solution to support the knowledge requirements of its global employees.

The challenge

Traditionally, training was achieved by classroom-based instructor led workshops. With the globalisation of its business the logistics, costs and quality became difficult to control.

The group needed to partner with an organisation who understood their global business, the challenges they face in an increasingly competitive environment in attracting and retaining talent, and who could support them on a global scale.

Intuition’s solution

The bank selected Intuition’s online financial training library, ’Know-How’, to upskill employees on banking and financial knowledge. The eLearning component allows participants to study at their own pace, inside and outside the office, and considerably accelerated the participant’s progress up the knowledge curve.

The bank blends the eLearning with technical instructor workshops and for many of these it is a mandatory requirement for them to complete the pre-workshop eLearning. This allows a knowledge benchmark to be set and allows the facilitators to focus on case studies, deal analysis and specific roleplays.

Intuitions Skills Gap Analysis online assessments (SGAs) are used extensively in targeted curriculums for the various business lines. The SGA provides skills heat maps but also allows people with existing knowledge to be ‘fast-tracked’ and provides a tailored solution.

Following the success of the financial markets training solution, the bank has expanded the curriculum to include Intuition’s Business Skills and Microlearning solutions, which are available across multiple devices (smartphone, tablet, desktop). This provides increased flexibility for the banks employees in how they consume knowledge.
